3 Calls in 6 Hours Keeps the 71 House Busy

At 8:45 hours, Engine 7-1-2 was dispatched to 200 N. Waterford Street at the Marietta Fire Company for and AFA.  Chief 7-10-2 quickly recalled the assignment before units responded.  Engine 7-1-2 was available at 8:49 hours.

At 13:00 hours, Engine 7-1-2 and Tanker 71 were dispatched to 21 Chelmsford Dr. in East Donegal Township to assist Station 79 on a reported dwelling fire.  Engine 7-1-2 (Capt. Smith) and Tanker 71 (Lt. Pavalonis) responded minutes after dispatch.  PD on scene reported fire to be out.  Engine 7-9-2 arrived on scene confirming fire out and placing all units available.  Stations 71 went available at 13:09 hours.

At 13:23 hours, as units were returning, the Engine and Tanker were again dispatched to East Donegal Township, this time to 9 Rosewood Ln for a reported dwelling.  Chief 7-9-2 arrived on scene with smoke showing.  Engine 7-9-2 arrived to find a working fire on the porch to the rear and also in a rear bedroom.  Engine 7-9-2 was able to knock the fire with a can, holding the assignment to Engine 7-9-2 and Truck 75.  Engine 7-1-2 and Tanker 71 were available at 13:29 hours.
